Delete Your Account

You can delete your Snuggle Sanctuary online account and its data at any time. Snuggle Sanctuary is published by Sanctuary Five Studios.
Who this applies to
Everyone who plays online. The game keeps a cloud backup for every player, including guests who never link a Google account, so this page applies whether or not you've signed in with Google.
Option 1: delete it in the game (fastest)
- Open Snuggle Sanctuary and tap the ⚙️ Settings button.
- Tap Online account and cloud save.
- Tap Delete my online account and confirm.
This happens straight away. Your sanctuary on that phone stays, and it starts backing up to a new guest account. To remove the copy on your phone as well, use Settings → Delete all my progress or uninstall the game.
Option 2: ask us by email
If you no longer have the game installed, email us with the subject line "Delete my account":
To help us find your account, please include:
- Your ranger name (every ranger name is one of a kind)
- The Google account email you linked, if you linked one
- Your herd code, if you're in a herd
We process email requests by hand and aim to finish within 30 days. We'll confirm by email when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account (the random user ID and, if linked, the connection to your Google account)
- Your cloud backup (animals, currencies, upgrades, outfits, story and purchases you own)
- Your ranger name record, so the name becomes free for others
- Your leaderboard and event entries, and any event prizes
- Your herd membership, help points and ticket gifts
- Your notification token and notification choices
What we may keep
Purchase records. If you bought anything in the game, we keep a record of each purchase: your user ID, the item, Google Play's order number, when it was bought, and a scrambled fingerprint of the purchase confirmation. We also keep the list of permanent items your account owns. We keep these for as long as we need them to handle refunds, prevent fraud and meet our legal record-keeping obligations, and they're not used for anything else.
World totals that already include your contribution (such as the Great Migration and weekly vote counts) stay as anonymous totals that don't identify you. Google Play keeps its own purchase records under its own policies; we never store your payment details.
